I've put the rear seat armrest down. Why? Well I've removed the middle headrest and put it in a bag in the boot. I prefer to get a bigger view through the middle of the rear screen. Chances are I'll never have three people across the rear seats. (Armrest down hopefully will remind me) Its just my preference. Happy days. By the way I wish you could switch the rear camera on when say on a motorway, I like to see as much as possible.

I've left mine in place but I do have the back seat flat so the dogs can have plenty of room.

I removed the centre headrest on my MG5 the day I picked up the car and did the same with the MGS5. The MG5 headrest was only refitted when I sold the car so it was never used in my 4 years of ownership.

Ditto, the middle headrest blocks the view through the mirror, it was one of the things I did.

This is a necessity on the MG4, you can't see a bloody thing with the middle headrest in place.
