I'm VTing my current car (an iPace)... There's a £15,000 insurance shortfall if someone totals my car and at £20,000 if the battery goes - it's a big risk!
Batteries don't fail, that's extremely rare (surely even for an iPace?) as is the risk of having an accident within any given 1 month period.

If you are that worried about the gap insurance, I am sure you can buy a month's worth somewhere for not very much or if necessary a whole year's worth for relatively little.

I've tried to get a short term warranty and the GAP insurance product doesn't exist (I've tried).

I can use my wife's car for a few weeks and I can't shake the feeling that I'd be risking a ton of money if I drive it without protection.

Well, it is your call of course.

Agreed Value Insurance might be the way to go, although that's off the mainstream market. Then it pays out a fixed agreed sum if written off.

But whether that is possible or good value for just a month, I do not know.

Quick blast to Maccies for Breaky.
Then a quick nosey to Southport MG.
They had a Nevis Blue IM5 performance.
Very nice! Having seen the White interior in the flesh, so to speak. Would definitely have to be that. 🙂👍
