IM5 DVR SD card issue

I have purchased a 'high speed' Lenovo 1tb Micro SD card for the DVR recorder. The IM5 recognises that there is a SD card inserted and then after about 5 seconds it says 'insert SD card', I've tried formatting on the car but it says 'formatting failed'. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this or is it a case of having to buy a new SD card and hope it works? Thanks

I might be wrong but I thought it was max 256GB.

Max card capacity is 64GB. Try a smaller card; my 64GB card works a treat.

i thought it was supposed to be 128gb or higher? Its quite confusing to know which is the best to get!
