Just placed an order for a long range IM5 in grey. Asked for it be delivered on my birthday 11th November. Hope it will be as trouble free like my ZS and my current MG4 trophy.

I ordered an IM6 long range in Nevis Blue and white interior on 3 Oct and have just been told it should be here 8 Dec.

Through Ancaster Dartford they said they are getting 3 through at the end of October. I can wait so that it’s a Christmas present to myself if I have to

I need to wait until the end of November anyway, since to qualify for the Affinity discount, I have to be a member of the MGCC for 3 months. The end of November is when that happens and, coincidentally, when the PCP agreement on my current MG4 ends.

You do indeed need to have been a member for 3 months. That's why I need to wait until the end of November, I joined the MGCC in August. The rules state that you need to be a member for 3 months before being eligible for the discount. As I haven't signed any agreement yet, other than to pay a minimal deposit to secure my order, I haven't committed to buying yet. There's nothing stopping the dealer ordering in the car.

Yes; that is correct. 3 months apply for MG owners club.

I placed an order end of September for an IM5 Long Range in Nevis Blue/grey interior from my local dealer in Cornwall, using a PCP plan and also the Affinity discount. They advised that delivery would be around the end of November though it could be sooner.

I ordered an IM5 in Nevis blue / grey interior mid September. Original estimate was mid November delivery. Now its saying December.

Ordered my IM5 on 18th October asked today they said. My IM5 is coming this week collection this friday, battery will be fully charged and updated software. Evidently it come with a small manual. And a 14year old to work the computeronly joking. Grey and grey interior as I am a mucky bu66er.
