IM6
I have only owned my IM6 for a couple of weeks. I was really concerned before it arrived by all the criticism by people on groups and forums.

Maybe I have been luck, or I don’t complain as much as the average IM6 owner. But my experience if the IM6 has been amazing. It’s wonderful to drive, it’s comfortable, quiet, smooth and swift. I have encountered no software issues so far.

Maybe it’s because I haven’t had it long and something will go wrong, am I alone in being completely delighted with my new car. I have owned so many new cars in my life, BMW’s, Mercedes, Jaguars, Range Rovers, Land Rovers etc.

The IM6 long range (in the short time I have had it) has been the most enjoyable car I have bought so far. I hope it stays this way.

I haven't heard a lot of criticism of either of the IM cars, a few nibbles and teething problems but nothing other than that.

I understand how you feel. I had one issue with the app, resolved.
Besides that I am amazed with it. What I am fascinated with is how quiet it is. My old model 3 felt like a bucket full of screws compared.
The power also is amazing. I drive in ECO and it's fine! Can't wait to break it in so to try sport 😄

Break it in? Thought EVs were ready to thrash from day one. 😉🙂👍

Yes, there are still moving parts. There's still a gearbox (even if it only has one gear) and driveshafts, motors etc... and suspension to bed in.

Christ! Nobody told me. Thrashed my,
X Power from day one. 😈 Bet it's no better/worse than one that's been pampered for a 1000 miles. No way I could wait that long. 😉🙂👍

Don't worry, you are not alone!

Someone will be along to remind us in a moment that really we should have flushed and changed the gearbox oil after 1000 miles to remove all the swarf from the manufacturing process. This definitely came up during OilLeakGate.

But of course, 99.99% of people never do that.
