Infotainment does not shut down

Hi. I have a 2023 ZSEV trophy long range. When I turn off the car using the start/stop button the infotainment stays on, so music keeps on playing etc. When I open the door and get out it still stays on. It only turns off when the car is locked. Is this normal?

Yes this is normal.

Yes. It will also time out after 5 minutes I believe.

I just press the mute button on the steering wheel before I get out - it doesn't turn it off, but at least it shuts it up!

Yes - It's TOTALLY normal ( personal for THIS car ) but I struggle to understand why they consider it "normal" behaviour to have it set up this way TBH ???.
If you shut down the car and are waiting for somebody, just say.
It will allow operation of the radio and maybe open + close any electric windows etc, for about 5 - 10 minutes, then it will automatically close down.
So, was this the idea then, keeping the 12 volt items active for a short amount of time ??.
Leaving and locking shuts down every thing.
It's a bit of an odd set up to be sure.

I think it's to allow for people to carry on listening to what they were listening too while starting a charge, then re-engaging the "ignition" while charging for AC etc without losing their Android Auto/Carplay/Bluetooth music connection.
