Is there a way to link stopping audio playing to turning the car off?

In our old Ford, when you had any audio playing, when you got home, the audio would continue playing when you turned the car off, until someone opened a door, then it would automatically cut the audio.

In the HS, I would want either the same as above or even just, kill the audio when I turn the car off.

Is there a way, or do I have to manually kill the audio every time?

When you lock the car, it stays on?
No. It goes off when you lock the car.
The scenario is:
1) you arrive at home with music/radio going,
2) pull up on the drive,
3) switch off the car,
4) open the doors,
5) close the doors,
6) lock the car.
I want the audio to stop at 4) ideally, but 3) would be okay too.
My 13 year-old C-Max did it at 4) and it made excellent sense. The HS doesn't seem to care if you want to be quiet/courteous when getting home late.

It is not a huge deal, I can just mute it as part of the switch off routine, but it seems "out of character" when a lot of other things are well thought out.

I have an MG4, where the pressing of "Park" automatically enables the handbrake too. Your HS may be different.

Preliminary Googlings tell me that if the HS is in park and the EPB is applied, then pressing the Start Stop button once (the LED light goes off) should switch off the car and the audio.

Does this work?

Of course, Google can be wrong!

The HS is the same in that Park applies the hand brake automatically, but the manual for the car (which is really only the PHEV manual) does say you should apply the handbrake before putting the car into Park. Which confuses me slightly.
Drifting away from the audio question, a little, but I am fairly new to EPBs, I'm fine with an automatic, but they always had manual handbrakes in the past.
I had to park on a steep driveway this last weekend and I'd have to say I wasn't too confident about how hard the handbrake was going to be applied. But it just seemed to be fine, I pulled up the EPB while I had my foot firmly on the brake and then hit the "P" button.
I have to assume that just pressing "P" would have achieved the same result.

Pressing Start Stop to turn the car off results in the driver's screen going black except for handbrake icon and open door indications and the Infotainment screen staying fully on, with audio playing.

As a workaround, I am now just remembering to press the right-hand "joystick" in to mute the sound as part of the shutdown sequence.

Just had a conversation with an ex Gen 1 HS owner who said their radio went off when the door opened.

I wonder if it's worth talking to the dealer about whether these things are programmable?

Seems odd to remove an option that was available on the previous model.

Thanks so much for engaging, I will certainly do that. As I say, it does seem incongruous for a car so well thought out in other regards to not have this covered.
