Went for a 2nd viewing of the MG5 as I wasn't convinced about the seating position on first visit and also the new Long Range MG5 had since been released.

The 2nd visit was better but I still felt that I would need extended time in the car and so requested an extended test drive.

The sales person took my details and said she would need to speak with the manager as the car was being used by him.

She has just rung me back and said that they would only allow an extended test-drive (24hrs) after an order has been placed and a deposit taken.

This really don't make any sense to me. Quite disappointed at this however I would say that on both visits, the staff have been very helpful and polite.

I would say that taking it out for a day within working hours is the reasonable compromise.
Once you’ve run it around the lanes and up and down a bit of motorway and checked the boot space that’s it for me. I decided on my ZS EV within about ten minutes.

Recently had a really good experience with these - very responsive by email, helpful and friendly. Would certainly recommend based on my own experience.

Could admin update the name of this thread though, it's Trowbridge, with an R! Cheers
