Its possible to fit USB beside rearviewmirror with OEM parts

For people who dont know. It is possible to buy the USB module and cover with USB hole and put in the 1 gen MG ZS EV.

It cost me 30£ in oem parts from the dealer.

Gonna use it for my dashcam.

It's also possible to buy a short USB cable for your dash cam on AliExpress for less than £1

Sorry i found a major flaw, while measuring the circuit. It made stupid sense and its because the bulbs in the overhead are regular bulbs. So when measuring conductivity things made sense, but also negative and positive are connected. So the wiring in the overhead are wrong. Somehow. Its headscrathing because i checked and it worked?
Something is really weird.

Will follow up when i have the solution!

Apparently (tried alot of connections because it was mad how it went).

Apparently, with the configuration illustrated, i had 12V to the USB while car is unlocked (even after 30min the 12 was still present).
When locking the car, the 12V dissapers. So that is the electrical i have made.

I tried other scenarios where the power was only on with door open or even when car is locked only. So....

Im done trying, this should be sufficient
