Life Hammer.

After a conversation about Life Hammers,
on another forum. I decided to get one.
I've never heard of anyone needing or using one. And almost certainly will never ever need one. But for 12 quid. I thought why not. Will fit nicely in the door pocket.
And added bonus, what a colour!

I was thinking of using the center console storage for a first aid kit as it will just get filled with junk otherwise. So first aid kit, life hammer, water bottle, 10mm spanner

It could come in handy sometime.
I read an EV bashing article a few days back, where the author was banging on about how two people died in their Tesla because they crashed and it caught fire. He was saying that because of the retracting door handles emergency services could not get into the car to save the people.
My first thought was he was spouting rubbish. What emergency services person would rely only on a door handle. Anyone worth their salt would just smash a window open the door and get the people out.
It does seem that EV haters make easy targets, with their lack of logic

You forget all those people buying spare wheels, a tyre wrench and a screwdriver to escape out the rear hatch if the door locking bug ever returns.

Then I imagine there's the triangle, high-vis jacket, breathalyser, fire extinguisher, fire-suppression blanket, emergency rations, warm clothing, spare phone and charger (or satellite phone?), torch, spare batteries for torch, etc... etc...

It is a wonder some of these cars have room for a driver, let alone other occupants....
