Location, location, location

I have noticed quite a few folks on here seem wary of divulging their location on their visible profile.
Just curious as to the reasons. A general idea may occasionally help answers if needed.
I promise I wont come stalking and as you can all see (hopefully) mine is set Leeds, others have set as a county some as just the UK.
