We have some trips away planned and I'm keen to know what state I should leave the battery in. Is fully charged best or a lower percentage?
If you leave the car at an airport you've not much choice but I'm looking at leaving it at home for a month or two. Will the 12v battery be ok?
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I'd say between 50% and 80% is best. If it's secure, I would disconnect the 12v, if not just make sure you have a 12v battery booster, in the glove box. If the 12v battery goes flat it's easier to access the glove box than the boot once you've opened the car with the mechanical key.

Sounds like a good back up plan, thanks
