Low exhaust MG HS HYBRID + ?

My new HS + the exhaust is visible from the side view while my older HS petrol is hidden .
Is this a design difference maybe because of the Battery pack ?

I was cleaning Snow off the car when I noticed it , doesn't really detract from looks but I'm a little concerned about the slightly lower ride height .
Not that I've any intention of Off Roading etc but I guess the warranty won't cover any damage in future ?
