Not surprised. Was it not BMW charging monthly payment for using the heated seats?
Or VW charging monthly for extra horsepower on the ID3?

It isn't going to work, the Chinese and other Asian competitors are not following and people will end up deserting those marques.

Cut your costs, don't try to extract more from your customers.
