How does the update work?

Should I need to take the car to the dealership, or could I update the car myself (MG> system > updates > detect new version)?

No, those are just infotainment updates. You need to visit your dealer for software updates. R24 is the latest.

As I could know today, there is already a R30. A friend of mine had it installed by the dealer.
Anyone knows any "place" where a changelog exists? This is very annoying. Not knowing if we would prefer to have or not to have new updates (since some features could have been rolled out in later updates, or some other that are possible to disable, become permanent in new versions). With a changelog we could opt in with some valid information.
