I charged my car today at a 7kw charge at work, halfway through on iSMART it says battery heating stopped but was still charging. 100% charge has given me 209 miles instead of the normal 240+

I’ve tried Googling to find out what the battery heating stopped means. Is the mileage drop weather related? Because I’ve charged to 100% in colder weather and it’s given me the full range.

Can anyone advise please just for my understanding. Car is 2023 model.

The displayed range is a guess based on your previous driving. There are a number of threads about this and it's nothing to be concerned about. Your miles/kWh is a better guide to efficiency rather than the Guess-O-Meter.

The battery heater comes on if the battery is below its optimal temperature for fastest charging speeds. When the battery gets to its optimal temperature, the heater turns off.
