MG Zs sat nav updated

Hey guys I know my MG is not EV but I've been trying to update my Sat nav and been unsuccessful and seem to be in a loop,

I have tried putting usb and pressing on update in which downloads the files onto the USB and get a message download this app in which I have done, now this is where I can not get further.

I plug in my USB and the software does not detect it. The USB is good,

I tried windows 10 as well 11

I even tried connecting my laptop directly to the car and getting no joy.

Is there something I'm missing

Are the files on the root of the USB or in a folder? If they are in a folder, cut and paste them onto the root directory so they can be detected.

Is USB formatted FAT32 ? I think it needs to be.

Yeah it should be but I'll try that also to be 100%

okay I have reformatted my USB so I know 100% it is fat32 as i already have the software installed for the naviextras toolbox, it is still not being detected for me to allow me to updated.

I have updated sat nav before and this one being stubborn.

honest do not know what I am missing.

my concern with this as it is for a MG Zs EV mine is not a EV car sadly would this still work?, it is annoying it doesn't have the equivalent of car play for android users.
