MG3 EV spied? Confused? I am, too!

So this was spied at Ionity Leeds this morning (not by me, but I do have permission to use the pictures). I'm confused. MG say that the 3 won't be an EV with this new generation but the green stripe on the reg and the 5 style switch gear would suggest otherwise. What are people's thoughts.

Registered on Nov 23 2023 by MG but no other details for the registration.

Apparently it's been misregistered by MG (as 0 g/km CO2) thus interpreted as an EV. It's actually a Petrol Hybrid ... a mild hybrid I believe (not plug-in).
