MG3 front window clicking

Hello guys, i’ve noticed from the last two weeks (car is 2 months old), everytime that i’ve going over bumps i hear like a cracking noises, like two plastics touching each other, someone feels the same?! Solve it?

I think I may have the same sound. In my car it's sounds like it's coming from somewhere behind the dashboard on the drivers side (RHD here in the UK).

I have the same creaking sound , from driver's side, however it's the EU version so it is on the left side.
It feels like the glass of the window is touching somewhere. The sound is prominent when the chassis of the car is bent a little when driving on a bumpy road.

If you press on this plastic "bar" it will "fit in" and the sound will stop (at least seems to be stopped for me) , will let you know once I have more km done.

I've also experienced this kind of sound. For me, it depends on temperature, it does not come when it's hot (hot weather or warmed engine), and it also diasappears in rain or after a car wash, (when some liquid goes onto/into the plastic area around windshield wiper base.

Have you tried the solution that I posted one post above?
It rarely "clicks" now.

yes I just tried but when I push I dont hear anything it doesn’t seem like it “fits” in. I still hear the clicking. You push up down or perpendicular?

I have pushed down in the spaced that are arrow highlighted, and I felt that it slid a bit down and seemd to be more firm.

I own since 2024 August a mg3 hybrid car. Yesterday and today a problem with drivers window arised.
If i full open window its now very diffult to close. I try many times, i press button and keep it for many seconds. Nothing. And suddenly i use button after some time, and the window closes. All other windows function as expected. The battery seems to be fully charged. What it clould be? And i there i standard workaround before i make an appointment to service to investigate the issue. Its the first time i user forum. Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum! Mine often waits a second or so to work if I've only lowered the window for a few seconds. I've never had it fail for a long time though. Sounds like a fault that will need looking at.

Thanks! The point is that all the time i own this car I'm satisfied with most of the features .
That was a sudden incident and the question is why after many tries comes back the functionality only for a while, and at the same time, all other windows function as expected and battery seems in a good state. Anway next week I will leave it to service to take a thorough look at the issue.
