My car only came with one key. It's the flip blade key, a bit like my VW key. I bought a second hand MG3 key that looked identical to my old ZS EV key because I hadn't actually got the car at that point and hadn't seen the correct key.
MG say they will program the new key and remove the missing one but they have never programmed two different style keys before.
Has anyone done this or knows if the red ZS style key will work? I'm also unsure if the MG3 is a keyless go car. The fob is identical to my old ZS one so I'm hoping this is possible or I've wasted my money! What I don't want to do is waste £70 on a fruitless recoding at MG if it isn't compatible.
