I have trouble with one of my keys running its battery down fast after an accident, and I noticed that the car itself told me there was a problem. I got a message on the dashboard saying that the key battery was low and to change it.

I can't swear it will be the same with your car, as mine is an MG4, but I think it's extremely likely.
