MG4 Urban (up to 12.000€ discount in Germany)

MG is currently giving everyone ordering an MG4 Urban a 6000€ discount+ if you qualify for the state funding you can get an additional 6000€ on top.

So the urban will cost you only 13000€ new.

Though the rebates are correct, the price is different.
The smallest MG4 Urban Comfort with 43 kWh battery has a list price of €27190. The MG rebate is currently €6000 and the government funding is up to €6000, depending on income and kids. If you get really small payment, have two kids and buy the cheapest MG4 Urban Comfort, it will cost €15540 (incl. €350 mandatory "transport"). It's a very good price though.

Our son will possibly buy the MG4 Urban Premium next week. He's in apprenticeship without kids and will get €5000 government funding. For €20840 he'll get the fully featured version of the car which has an amazing value for money.

Only disadvantage: The car has no front PDC, so we'll have to order the Premium version, which has at least a 360° camera.

I think the state funding is ridiculous.. Where does the 27,190 come from? I can only find the UVP (msrp) of 24,990

for some of the models (S5 and S6 that I looked into) in the UK, you can get almost £10,000 discount !!!!

I think, the state funding is well-balanced. It depends on the family income and kids. You only get the maximum funding, if you earn under 45k and have two kids. For those families, buying a new car is quite demanding.
