Hi,
I bought a MG5 2022 that has some accident. Car working fine(except power steering, but this is other issue) but I can not communicate with OBDII.
I have Vgate Bluetooth module.
I connected oscilloscope to CAN bus pin in OBD socket 14 and 6. I clearly see that some device sending contently data on the bus. There is not free time frame to my ELM327 to send data. If I remove Fuse 49(TBOX) and 50(gateway) the data is still on the bus. Ca somebody have something like this? Theoretically only TBOX and gateway is connected to OBDII socket.
Do you now what is location of Gateway Module(module that integrate all CAN buses that are in MG5?

All the best

Yes, dongle is ok. The CAN bus is just constantly spammed with some messages. Data after data.

Using an OBD reader, 2 different ones, Communicates fine with the dongles but never been able to communicate with the car using Car Scanner Pro. It can never find the profile.
No problems at all on my previous ZS EV, no luck with the 5.

Many people reported success with communication with MG5 EV.
I have find that CAN gateway is located behind glove box.
