I bought this year last year, so for me new and my first electric. Ever since I've had it won't charge on the super fast chargers higher than 40kwh. The dealer says there's nothing wrong with it and can't find anything wrong. It therefore takes forever to charge when these vehicles can actually take in over 70kwh.

When reversing in the wet, it makes a huge noise. They say some cars just make that noise. It's a hideous high screeching noise.

Does anyone's else's MG5 sw estate do this?

When I reverse out of my drive both my 5's make a noise until the disc's are cleaned up.
I have seen over 50kW being pulled on my MG5 and few times. It has to be from below 20% SOC and on a hot day so the battery is warm.

The charging should get very much better when the weather warms up. I've occasionally seen mine touch 80kW (but never for very long).
The brakes just get a bit grubby and rusty because they don't get used much. This can make them a bit noisy especially in winter. I try to remember to do some enthusiastic braking once in a while (especially if I've charged the car to 100%) to scrub the disks clean a bit.

To get the highest charging speeds, you need to be starting the charging session at less than 20 percent SOC in warmer temperatures. Starting at a higher charge percent, particularly in the cold, will yield relatively slow charge rates.

Mine also makes a racket when reversing when it has been raining, even if the car has only been stood on the work car park for a few hours. A couple of brake applications and it soon stops.

Best I achieved with my PFL5 was 93kWh at 34%, and sustained at over 70. It was a nice summer day though with temperature 25 degrees. It was full enough before I had time to get my coffee. :D
