MGS5 Accessories- what’s worth a look?

Do you know if they fit well? They have a boot liner too.

Fitted ones seem to be expensive, probably because they are heavy so cost a lot to ship from China.

Found these:

I was going to have a look today, they call it a boot mat but if you zoom in it's a rubber boot liner rather than a carpet type.
I'm guessing it's a thin one as it shows it being cut with scissors rather than a knife.

my current one is a thick one from Ebay/amazon about 10 years ago.

Does it need to be thick? I suppose it depends what you are transporting. I was thinking of getting some hefty bags in case I need to move anything like that. Could even keep one under the floor.

If anyone was looking at the car trim removal kit, they are quite thick at the tips, 3-4mm.

If you're looking for slim tips to open up some finer parts, these aren't for you.

Have you been installing a dashcam or something?

So what have you chosen to pimp up your MGS5?

I will kick off with a set of MGTitan rubber maps front back and boot.
I will be looking for metal scuff plates for door entry points and one for the boot so the labrador doesn't ruin the paintwork. When I can find where to get ones that fit the MGS5.

Keep an eye on ES5 the model in China, most things are the same although they get a bigger screen in China and not the blooming stupid keys (no I am not a fan of the teardrop shape keys).

No, I get nominated for fixing my daughters and son in laws cars when things go wrong.
I've took a few interior panels off on my time
No need to remove trim to install cables for dash-cam, there's a power outlet on side of rear view mirror housing, Brilliant.

It's a great idea, the only thing is if you want parking mode it only runs while the car is on. In a lot of cars you can remove the plastic cover over the front camera housing and get to permanent 12V and accessory power, but I'd be worried about moving the camera and de-calibrating it.

Also if you want a rear one you need to run a cable back there. Still, a very good idea if all you need is a front one while driving.
