In my MGS5 EV the driver assist regarding inattention sounds when driving in bright sunlight. It picks up speed as you continue driving until the three notes run into each other. The only way to stop the continuous sound is to briefly cover the sensor. Is there any way to turn this feature off altogether? As it is, I’m so distracted by the noise it makes me lose concentration.
Any advice would be welcome

Thank you very much. I also find it very annoying, particularly as when it chimes, I’m always watching the road very closely.

I have the same on my IM5. It’s too sensitive so when you look in a mirror or waiting at a roundabout it keeps going off. Don’t know if it affects your insurance but stuck a piece of tape cut to size over it on the A pillar to stop it spying all the time. Tried switching it off but it reverted back to default the next time I used the car

It only happens in my MGS5 when driving in bright sunlight. I wear glasses for driving, so I assume it’s something to do with a reflection off the glasses. If you cover the sensor it tells you off for covering the sensor! I have disabled the sensor in Pilot, but that does mean that you need to remember to turn the pilot settings on before driving in sun. I can’t wait for summer (not)!
