I'd love to know more about these 16 vehicles @T1 Terry, maybe a new thread with loads of pictures. 😊
If went around taking photos of them, the wife my think I was looking at selling some or all of them ...... the resulting argument afterwards would be your fault and she would never believe it was to verify my vehicle collection

I lost all my photos when both the house and motorhome burnt in the second fire .... the others I lost in the workshop fire because my computer was in the workshop when it burnt and the backups were in the motorhome that was in the workshop.
I'll see if I have any photos of the salvage Auction vehicles I bought 12 mths ago ...

Hi Everyone, picked my S5 up two weeks ago and overall really liking the car, a couple of annoying things that will take some time to get used to. The concentration warning is annoying, I am looking straight ahead, yet get the annoying beeping, not sure if and how to turn it off. The other thing is and I hope someone can answer, how do I change the time on the screen? Looked through the manual and cant find it anywhere.

Hi there!! Hope yer enjoying the new wagon....Two weeks into mine and still lovin' it.....
Are you after setting the correct time following the clocks going back an hour??
If so, its the DST slider you're after in the settings screen.
If not, setting the clock to Auto should suffice, but most of us S5 users have found that we're an hour out, despite the 'Auto' setting, and still need the DST switch in the right orientation....'off' in this case if memory serves....

You can change the sensitivity of the concentration warning although some owners who wear glasses seem to get more warnings than others.

The clock can be altered in the settings which is found by swiping left on the main screen. I suggest, if you haven't done so already, sit in the car with a cuppa and spend half-an-hour swiping, tapping and exploring all the settings.

Hi, had mine 8 weeks and put about 1700 miles into it. Well, Mrs G has, mainly school run, work school run, kids evening activities. I get to drive it on the evening kids activities and when it needs charging.
Anyway, only thing I don't like is the auto hold foot brake doesn't work on reverse. And I still keep reaching for the keys when I park up.

Nothing to add except, that is a genius if yet slightly morbid nom de plume you have chosen.👻☠️😄

Congrats!

  1. To turn off the concentration warning:
  2. Go to the Car Icon at the bottom navigation
  3. Select MG Pilot tab
  4. Scroll down to Driver Distraction Monitoring, and turn it off.

Do note that this setting will reset everytime u start the car. What we can do put these settings saved to the MG Pilot, and enable it everytime you start the car. To do that once you have done your settings on MG Pilot
  1. Scroll up and long press on the MG Pilot button
  2. It will turn blue and a notification will pop up saying that it saved.
Now everytime you start the car, pull down the screen, and an MG Pilot button will appear among other shortcuts, and press to enable it.

For the time thingy:
  1. Go to settings by scrolling the main screen to the next page
  2. Select General
  3. Scroll down to Automatic Time and enable it
  4. Also, scroll down to Time Zone, to select the appropriate one.

Hope it helps!
