MGZS Trophy Connect 2022 plate intermittent radio issues

We’ve had the EV from new but in the last month, the radio has periods where the volume is turned up but there isn't any sound produced and this continues for the full journey. We’ve tried stopping & turning ignition on and off but this does not resolve the issue. It’s not related to speed sensitive volume either. It seems to correct itself the following day(or maybe two) and then it happens again for the whole journey. Any ideas would be gratefully received please? Thank you.

Try pressing and holding the physical home button until the infotainment centre reboots.
If this doesn’t work, disconnect the negative terminal of the 12v battery and leave for 10 minutes before reconnecting.

Sometimes I have to rotate through the different radio source inputs to get the radio back on. Use the SRC button on the left side of the steering wheel to achieve this.
