MGZS TROPHY ISSUE

Hi. My MGZS + Trophy 2025 plate seems to make a louder engine noise when in HEV mode especially when climbing a slight incline. Is this normal. Never had a self charging hybrid before ?

There are members on this site who have reported the same problem, but MG say its normal function of the Hybrid system, I have not experienced it myself, my previous car was a Renualt hybrid and that would rev more on inclines, check you tube as there are videos that mention the same thing.

Have look around the group, there are many references to the problem, and the PD052 software update.which has altered the way the car manages the state of charge of the battery. A hybrid management system is always going to be a compromise. A good start would be the MG ZS HYBRID+ Gets fix after ……
