MPG massive change after service

We took it in for it's first service on Tuesday, 1.5 hours, then we went for a drive shopping and lunch, I didn't notice the MPG as it had been steady at 57.7mpg for a while, yesterday, I nipped to the chip shop, the boss had done maybe 15 miles since the service so may 50 miles since the service.

So, HTF has it gone from 57.7 mpg to this:-

Did they update software? Mine increased mpg a lot after that, though sadly it gained the screaming revs on any hill.

I didn't spot any change in mpg after my recent service though.

They did a small update as a tyre pressure sensor was misreading on one wheel.
