Mute volume in reverse

In my previous vehicle I could select to automatically mute the radio volme when engaging reverse. I cannot see any way to do this in my MG HS so I have to remember to press the the mute button on the steering wheel in order to hear the reverse sensor beeps. Not a big deal but annoying when I'm used to not having to do it previously.

Not sure if it reads across to the HS but it mutes automatically on my MG5.

Doesn’t the volume automatically turns way down when you put it in reverse. Is that not good enough?

I suspect that if you select reverse, you can then adjust the "reverse volume" using the volume controls!

On mine, from a 'normal' volume, the level decreases to a very quiet volume when reverse is engaged. It really is almost muted and easily quiet enough to hear the reverse sensors. I've never touched any settings and so I've assumed they are all like that.

On the ZS the sound automatically reduces when you select reverse and camera turns on. So you can hear the parking sensors.
