Dear MG community,
This will be my last post on this forum.
Unfortunately, my wife has recently said goodbye to our MG ZS Hybrid+ in a serious accident. She failed to yield and drove into the path of a truck traveling at an estimated speed of 60 km/h. It was a significant collision — witnesses described it as very severe — and yet, thanks to the car’s safety systems, she walked away with only some bruises on her legs and a heavy heart full of remorse.
I want to express my deep appreciation for MG and the way the ZS Hybrid+ performed. All safety systems worked exactly as they should, and I truly believe the car played a major role in protecting her during the crash.
Throughout our ownership, the MG ZS Hybrid+ proved to be a solid and enjoyable car. It was fuel-efficient, dynamically capable, and to be honest, I often chose it over our Skoda Octavia for personal trips. Of course, no car is perfect — my only real gripe was the engine revving higher than expected when using cruise control at speeds over 130 km/h. But it was just rather a thing that you had to get used to it and to accept which I did. Aside from that, we were more than satisfied.
I leave this forum with great respect for MG — a brand that delivered a dynamic, economical, and, most importantly, safe vehicle. Sadly, we won’t be returning to MG at this time due to the urgent need for a replacement vehicle, and the current delivery time in Poland being around 5–6 months.
Thank you all for your insights and discussions over the months. Stay safe out there!
