I regularly check in on this forum, and have to say that I am starting to feel like I must be the luckiest MG 3 Hybrid Trophy owner on the planet! I purchased mine in June 2024 and the car is still running beautifully. It starts every time and never misses a beat. It is quiet and certainly doesn't scream when going up hills. No problem with software etc. and my MG dealer has been exceptional in their service and advice at all times. I never expected a Rolls Royce on the cheap and I'm still very aware that I managed to buy a very reliable, pretty powerful little car with a decent MPG for £20K that I can feel confident in. In fact, everything is 'hunky-dory'! Long may it continue.

I'm similar, Trophy bought Sept 24 and has been absolutely fine. The back suspension bushes creak a bit when the temps get lower than zero but that's fairly rare where I live so no big issue with that. Overall very happy with the car.

Whatever you do, do not get the software update.

Mine was new in july 2025, has been perfectish, some weird noises now and then from under the bonnet, but it came with the high reving software, something the demo I drove didn't do.

I get creaky suspension noises after I've been driving in rainy, wet conditions. The rear creaks at every speed hump I have to travel over on my road leading up to my house. It takes a couple of days for the 'suspension bush' to dry out, and then the creaking completely disappears (until I drive in rainy conditions again). I believe MG Europe know there is an issue with the suspension bush, and I hope one day there will be a fix. My local dealer denied there was anything wrong when I reported it as service back in September 2025. I have now taken a recording of the noise on my phone, which is something I will play to them the next time I'm at the dealership.
