MY22 ZS aero wheel cover off efficiency

Well, for starters I doubt if we peasants in the U.K. will get alloy wheels underneath the sh*tty Halfords style ‘aero’ wheel covers, ( I may be wrong, I hope so), If I do get alloys like the photo they’ll be staying out and proud and sod the range! They’ll also be staying silver, black gloss would be a deal breaker for me.
That's a UK wheel😏

Be careful if you plan to take off the covers - lots of reports of them snapping/cracking on removal/replacement as they fit tightly into the alloy and, as with everything form MG, getting spares/replacements from MG takes an age.

If it helps anybody considering taking a chance and removing them, here is a photo of the rear of the wheel trim.
You can clearly see the holding clips positions.
P.S. - I did not remove my trim for these shots !. 🤣.

Could have at least made the “aero off” at least somewhat nice to look at.

Think I’ll keep the plastic on, until it breaks.
