Hello there , would anyone know the name and the function of this piece is located in the positive terminal of the 12v battery.

The blue and yellow, the wire was attached to it but came out accidentally, now I want to replace flix.

I think it's the sensor for the 12 volt battery monitor.

One has to assume the main battery connection goes to the CPU electronics, including the output side of the main 12v charging system. One of the secondary connections could well be the battery-state indicator circuit, the other the infotainment system?
Just guessing of course.

High performance BMW's have a pyro fuse on the live terminal on the 12 volt battery, but these tend to be high spec lithium units and not your standard run of the mill 12 volt batteries.
