Yep, I did that last year and it worked well for me, batteries charged and grid to zero during the saving sessions. MG's with vehicle to load could be a great way to work the system to your advantage.

I did it last time too. The financial benefit for me was tiny but at least I was doing my bit to balance load on the grid. I’ve subsequently changed from Octopus Go to Octopus Agile and find myself consciously avoiding heavy usage from 1700 to 1900 daily.
