Hi All

Just brought my new 75 plate MG HS Hybrid+ Trophy in Black.

Love the car very smooth and quiet, fully loaded and amazing tech.

The only thing is the driver monitor keeps binging very annoying. I know you can turn it off but have to do it every time you start up.! I've been reading and some people say that putting tape over it will stop it.? Has anybody tried this and does it work.?

Appreciate any advice on this.

If you tape it up you'll keep getting a warming there is a fault with the system, just leave it and ignore the bongs.

I thought that might be the case, but somebody had to try it.

I think jerry pan talks about this on one of the you tube videos.. you get initial warning that what functions are now not working and that's that... may be worth checking out.. have to say on a test drive I did not find them an iritation.. may be different when my car arrives in a couple of weeks...

Thank you all for your replies.

Just an update the driver monitor is a lot better now not many bings and bongs.
I think at the start because it was a new car l was looking around the car alot and also playing about a lot with the screen and setting while driving.
Now I am used to the car and got the settings how l like them l am not looking around the car and messing about with the screen so its not a problem anymore.

Had it for nearly amonth now and l love it best car lve owned so far.
