Hello. I've just joined this forum as we (my wife and I) are picking up our brand new MG3 Hybrid+ Trophy today. Hope it's as good as expected! The test drive certainly impressed.

Thank you. Well, I don't want to upset anyone, but there seem to be a lot of grey or silver cars on the road and whilst my wife wouldn't tolerate a pillar-box red, we decided, at my instigation, on the dynamic red (which was available right away). I hope I don't regret it

The Dynamic Red is a fantastic colour, I don't think you'll see many of them on the roads, I've only seen one in real life, and that was in the Dealer showroom.

I think they must all be in the showrooms; this dealer had at least two! Perhaps it's because everyone hates it Or maybe it's the extra £150 (on top of the other extra for anything other than white)

I wanted the Dynamic red, due to its rarity, but I chose the Battersea Blue due to the waiting times for the various colour's

Right, all done & collected, driven home without upset. All very nice. Having worked out that I have to switch it off before locking it otherwise the horn toots at me.
My wife has never driven an automatic so this is going to be interesting. (We share our car.) So a little drive up onto Dartmoor this afternoon should be fun.

My wife will not drive my MG3. She is insured but the automatic & "systems" have got her scared silly. She is going to stick with her little Suzuki Splash until she or it fall apart

My wife took her first tentative drive in an automatic this afternoon; she's been driving for a bit over 50 years. A little cautious obviously but within 5 miles she was sold on it. She's not really interested in the techy gizmos which is really surprising but it seems quite likely that she'll be thinking: why didn't we do this years ago?

Welcome to the forum. I have the Pearl Black version, which I love when clean.... The red looks really good though!
