I know this has been discussed on individual model forums but I am interested in a wider view.
I am going to replace my tyres, fronts are getting low but may do all 4. I am looking to reduce noise as far as I can and was looking at the Goodyear Efficient grip performance 2s but there are so many all with the same name but different fuel/wet/noise ratings. Only difference I can tell is the EAN number so how can I tell if they have fitted the one I want ?
Which ones did others fit, I can see they are mentioned a few times above. Mine are 94V rated so that or 94W or anything above.
See here how many for example

Who knew Asda did tyres?

i replaced original summer tyres at 2000 miles with goodyear all season. Great grip on ice, wet or snow. Use 'snow' mode on my mg s5 and you can pull away, positively, with virtually no skitting. Braking and cornering much better than summer tyres. I've had winter tyres for many years and they're top notch, but you do have the issue of having spare set of wheels / tyres to store somewhere, or pay to get tyres themselves swapped. Now with all season, they're vey inconvenient but also much more grip therefore safer, therefore less likely to skid, crash into something or someone or end up in a ditch on a country road
