Despite Tusker informing me yesterday that I'm now moving from 'mid-April' to the end of April, I got a call from Perrys at lunch to say they can deliver my IM5 next Wednesday!

Anyone here had a Tusker/Perrys delivery? I understand the delivery guy will call me on the morning or night before to confirm a time, but what do I do if something's not right with the car, or something's missing?

I really wouldn't want to reject the car if it's scratched up or whatever, but I also wouldn't want to be liable for damage it acquired before it reached me. Would I call Tusker or Perrys in the first instance? It's my first time using salary sacrifice and my first time taking home delivery of a car.

Did not get my car delivered by Tusker/Perrys, but it is a lease. When they deliver, walk around the car with the delivery guy. They should take notes, log any starting mileage, confirm your happy and know how things work etc…

Mine arrived on Monday with the same swirl marks. It's leased and it was actually the delivery driver who pointed it out to me he said to refuse the car and they will send someone out the machine polish - they have arranged for Revive to come out next month for a full machine polish :)

Tell the dealer and get they to pay for the paint restoration.
I promise you I'll do a better job.

It will also give me chance to give it a seal and wax too. I don't use ceramic coating any more because in my experience they are pretty much a waste of time. A good quality sealant and wax will last nearly as long.

Being a bit of a hobbyist detailer, I opt for full PPF and Ceramic coating, and then OCD maintenance and washing…
Once you start down that road it’s a dangerous spiral into the obsessive!!!
For a lease car I wouldn’t worry too much…
