News on delivery of first Batch of IM6

Hi all,

Stealing the idea from the IM5 thread I thought about creating this one where we can track orders and delivery dates for the IM6 coming to the country.
I will start with myself.
Order placed on Saturday the 27th of September; IM6 Launch white on white. Was told delivery up to 16 weeks.

I bought a white on white on the 17th September and the estimated delivery date is 15th December

my order through work got passed to MG last week. It’s showing as Dec/Jan for delivery. Went for the Long Range in Nevis Blue with white interior.

Think you'll be ok. It's not leather, so should be easily Wipeable. Wet wipes should do the trick.

Had my white interior Ioniq 5 for just over 4 years and only had to use warm water to clean the occasional mark.

I test drove 2 IM6s. One was white; the other blue.
I must admit I did not really like the specific blue shade. I also saw a black and a grey IM5. The black was very nice but judging from my wife's black car it will be a nightmare to keep clean...

As for the white interior none of the ones I saw had a white one. The grey though I did not like at all.
Very peculiar choice for interior colour; would have expected black or white. It makes the car look dull in my eyes.
It will be interesting with the kids but we 'll manage

I really liked the look of the white interior until I saw the "chav bracelet rose gold" metallic work - had that been chrome or Aluminium finish, that would definitely have been our chosen combination.
I generally despise grey as an exterior car colour, but the metallic grey of the IM5/6 seems to have an almost brownish/bronze tinge to it, so given that the blue is a flat colour rather than a nice metallic, I would probably have gone for grey (never thought I'd say that!).

Really? Fair enough. Personally like it.
But as always, each to there own.

Actually it's one of the things I like most about the MG brand is that they offer fantastic colours like orange!

I would have gone for white
Studies have shown that brighter colors like orange and yellow can be less likely to be involved in accidents because they stand out against most backgrounds.

Exactly. Susprising, isn't it. A grey car against a grey background isn't very visible. Who'd have thought it?

Just read that Anji Flourishment is on its way to Bristol carrying around 3500 cars.
There's bound to be IM6s amongst them. Probably late November, early December deliveries.
Fingers crossed for mine

I see they reckon the decision by Cardiff Council to impose extra parking charges on all cars over 2400kg in weight could get adopted all over, this includes EVs.
They reckon it will eventually get dropped to 2000kgs for non EVs

I have read the news.
What a bunch of idiots if I may say...
The council there claims that this is targeted for extra polluting vehicles which can be a danger for road users.
The only cars that spring into mind are Land Rovers....with their bonnets being so high and the fact that they consume like a gallon per mile..

This is a pure money grab. Nothing more; nothing less.

As for me I don't really mind. I wouldn't dream of going downtown to Liverpool with a car this big. Wife's Atto3 will do the trick
