News on delivery of first Batch of IM6

Got a very disappointing update today from NHS fleet - after being told in January that it was on a a boat, being delivered in Feb and so would be with me in early March I've now been told it won't be with me until April. Very frustrated as didn't appreciate how new the car was to the UK when I made the original order back in September and no idea I would be in for a 6/7 month wait!

These delays seem to affect the salary sacrifice orders far more so seems to be something with their systems. I ordered mine in late Oct and got it in Dec. Moreover, there are dealers with them on their forecourts.

Checking my original order date I must have ordered the same spec on the same day in September. My current delivery date is showing as 27th March and was hoping that this was conservative given reports of vehicles being delivered a week early than the final estimated date. Now I'm wondering if my next update will be April or if you are being given a much later date so you get a surprise when it turns up earlier.
 
I presume bigger profit margins on private sales compared to fleet deals?
I remember the same thing being discussed on Tesla forums when Model 3 first hit our shores.
Bigger margin sales were prioritised for quite a while. Can't blame them....
 
I ordered my car on the 9th of Feb through Tusker, IM6 LR in black with grey leather. Currently have an estimated to dealer date by mid March, hoping to have the car by April 6th fingers crossed. Seems a bit optimistic now though going from others on here, current status is released from factory though.
 
I ordered the long range with evans halshaw leasing, order was placed on 12 february, they tell me end of july.

I was expecting this from research, as my current polestar 2 lease ends in september.

Same as me, order confirmed on the 12th and told end of July. Mine is a LR in grey with white interior.

Not looking forward to the inevitable slippages to the date...
 
Just had my IM6 LR delivered today through NHS Fleet, ordered beginning of October.

Other than some small paint chips on the boot and the key fob not working (the norm I understand) I'm really happy and deffo worth the wait! Will see what Vertu say about the chips, not a biggy given the car isn't actually mine but annoying given it's new.

I'm also considering business lease IM6 LR through Evan Halshaw, how's your experience with EH?
 
I contacted my lease company today thinking about Middle East war and shipping delays. Apparently my LR is already in the country!

Delivery date to me TBC.

If them chips get worse and begin to rust, you will be liable for the repair! Make sure you get it sorted
 
Still no date here, ordered in October 10th and will current car goes back next weekend. I really hope this car is worth the hassle!

It is! There is clearly a delivery problem with cars ordered through salary sacrifice and leasing deals. Ordered mine from the dealer in Oct and got it before Christmas. Plus there are many being offered as available now by dealers.

I ordered same spec through Tusker on 26th Jan and had an ETA of 11th May. Dealer has confirmed it's on a boat and due into the UK at end of March. Think you're lead time of 4/5 weeks from order to dealer might be optimistic.
