Normal that rear camera is very dim?

The rear camera is of little help when it's dark and raining, is it supposed to have no dedicated light source and be very dim?

Compared to a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV it's night and day, it has very good lighting and very helpful when reversing in the dark.

Mine was, until I thoroughly cleaned the lens...try that first...

reversing light is not the strongest around but it helps holding the brake pedal slightly pressed so the brake lights are on as you reverse.

and yes, keeping the camera lens clean makes massive difference ...

I found that raising the brightness of the whole screen made the rear camera much more usable. Swipe up from the main screen to adjust I think, from memory. Of course, it's too bright at night then, and needs adjusting down again!
