Several years ago I had a speeding notice through the post. Whilst I was at work in Weston super Mare where my Prius PHV was parked, it was clocked by a camera in London. After an email conversation, it turned out the person checking the photos had made a mistake. I did suggest maybe emphasising more diligence when checking number plates.
Recently I had an invoice from the parking company which manages Tesco car park in Weston. Apparently I entered the car park and was there overnight, leaving the next day. I sent them the screen shots of Google Maps from Android Auto, which showed the time and duration of each journey . . . Invoice cancelled.
