Overspeed Threshold

Hi,

Does anyone know what the overspeed threshold is for in the settings screen (main dash, not infotainment)? The manual's vague advice (page 19 of the online one) is:

"Allows the setting of the over-speed alarm threshold, please note, the over-speed alarm function is turned off when "OFF" is displayed."

Overspeed of what though? Current speed limit? The increases are really coarse - +18mph I think the first one is, which is a nice round 28.96kph.

Has anyone changed it. What happened?

Yes I have had a play with this, it seems to work on the dash when you exceed set speed whatever it’s. I have mine set at 80 now so it never goes off. When the car sat nav is in use and you have it set it flash up if you exceed set speed on screen as well.
I tried it for a while at 30 mph but I do a bit of driving outside of this limit and it drove me mad so switched to 80, if I ever get up to 80 I would like warning to wake me up!
