Paint Rusty Wheel Hub with Wheel still on

Thanks everyone... I tried painting through the gaps in alloys.. and as predicted it was to difficult.. so I ended up taking the wheels off.. sanding them a little.. clean with white spirit and a quick coat of hammarite smooth silver.. looks better.. I'm no artist tho! lol I think looks better than it did. So it anyone else has the same issue take wheels off.. or do nothing at all and see what happens.. I certainly wouldn't be asking the lease company next time.. as probably trying it on.

Well that definitely saves any hassle with the Leasing Company @si1972, you've done a great job. (y)

Thanks, next question.. I asked for the Orange calliper covers to be removed by the dealer before I originally collected the car.. and for them to put the callipers in the boot.. nah they threw them out!! or so they said.. I have an email from the garage saying if there are any problems on return to the Lease company they will cover any charges.. BCA Logistics are collecting it Friday.. I'm keeping my fingers crossed all goes smoothly.. returning lease car there are always potential pit falls.

Depends on who picks the car up initially, they will look round and mark any issues and go thru it with you, then when it gets back to BCA it may be assessed again and would depend if they notice or realise those parts should be on there.
Dealer backing you up is good news so should not be a problem and also the hubs now do look nice.👍
Please update us, keen to know seeing as mine is with Alphabet also.

My MG4 went back last year and was collected by a sub-contracted company (PCP rather than lease). To cover themselves the collector went over the car with a fine toothcomb and highlighted every mark on the body (so they couldn't be blamed for any damage when delivered to the PCP company). It was then trailered away. The lesson learned was to thoroughly clean the paintwork and give it a good polish before it's collected (mine was clean but not polished). You're probably all over it but just in case don't forget to unlink the app and do the factory reset before collection.:)
