I saw that too. Over time I think the number will drop or move to charge points, they'll never disappear and it's not going to happen overnight - there will always be ICE vehicles, their number will just plummet IMO.

Pertol stations can/should become convenience stores with ultra rapid charging. The BP in maplas Road, newport is an M&S food shop and coffee "wild bean" counter and has 2 150kw chargers (at the moment). I spent more on coke than on electricity. And the profit margins on coffee is far more than a tank of fuel or electricity.

If they sell just petrol, then yes their days are numbered.
