Mine seems to active between 70 and 80 miles remaining

Thank you. We did a test drive last week and the car had 70 miles reported in tank. We had bings and bongs going off all over the place, it was raining heavily and didn't know what was what.

Scotsman is correct try to fill it up before gets to the warning light stage reference the bongs you can switch some off in the menu

Fortunately, the MG3 has a fuel filter (integrated into the fuel pump assembly in the fuel tank).

Sediment builds up through time your integrated filter in the pump won't save you, could end up with misfiring hesitation difficulty starting the car etc , my advice would never run the fuel tank that low , only my advice
