Phone connects but won't come thru speakers

Hi,
Newbie here, please be gentle!
Got my MG5 LR Exclusive in March. Initially hands-free worked (iPhone SE 2020). After not very long, maybe a couple of weeks, it stopped coming thru speakers tho still connects to infotainment system eg navigation and podcasts are fine. Hoping someone here can put me right... Would be really nice to get it working again.

Mine has been fine over past 9 months - but call volume isn't very high, even when I twist the volume dial to the max during a call.

Are you still getting the calls connected through hands free and able to accept via car but without sound - or are they going to the phone now rather than the car?

I think the first one... hands free connection without sound. Will test...

The phone volume might just need turned up.
The in-call volume, can be different to the media volume, and might need adjusted on the actual phone while on call.
So while on a call, press the up volume button on the actual phone.
