Phone contacts

Is there a way to store phone contacts to save having to scroll through the contacts list? It’s quite dangerous having to scroll whilst driving and most other cars I’ve had allow you to set a favourites button. I assume the voice control button on the steering whee is to speak and ask it to dial a contact but the button in mine doesn’t do anything - presumably as it’s not a Trophy model?

The button only works if you are connected by a cable.
I just put an A at the start of the name and it moves it up the list

Actually, for me (PFL MG5 Exclusive, LR) it works wirelessly as well, either to initiate a phone call or to tell Maps where I want it to set a route to.

So long as Bluetooth is connected the button should work for speech commands to call etc.

Tried it yesterday and it does work when connected to cable plugged in to the slot on the left side (car play?). Sadly my work phone has had car play disabled so won’t work but my personal phone does. Does seem a bit odd that it needs to be plugged in though…
